FIIIIIIIIINALS

it is 4 am, and i have to take two finals today - New Testament and French. My French final is in 7 hours - cue hyperventilation. I'll be fine...parce que j'aime le francais, et je sais beaucoup de francais. vraiment? vraiment! hahah. i am in LOVE with the french language, and i'm excited for french 102 next semester. anyways -- today i went to arby's and then to target with one of my roommates, amy, and we picked out little gifts.

this is amy and i, excited to embark on our trip. i'm looking less than attractive, but I DON'T CAREEEEEEEE. haha.
at arby's, i sampled this concoction:

but it tasted like chemicals. it was gross.

the princess and the frog was A+. good job disney. tepanyaki...was not as good as the japanese restaurants back home! and more expensive! yuck.

my schedule for next semester is as follows:

i am especially excited about my international health class. i am also excited about not having any classes until 1 pm. YES!

well i had better go study......

4 days!

Tonight my roommate and I are going to Tepanyaki Hibachi Grill and then to see the Princess and the Frog! so exciting... it's my last weekend in Provo! :) That makes me so happy! I get into RDU at around 10:30 pm the 16th, and then I leave early on the 1st of January. It'll be the first time I have been home since June. I cannot wait to see my siblings. I have finals on monday and tuesday...yuck. Studying tomorrow. :)

all-nighters are my FAVORITE!

Greetings from a very tired Linda. I am and have always been a procrastinator, and I have learned in college that this is a very very bad habit. Unfortunately, although I KNOW it's a terrible habit, I still do it. :) So I've been sitting at our lovely kitchen table since...10pm? studying for a New Testament exam. Gotta love cramming!
I look lovely this fine morning, this is the masterpiece i've been working on (our exam is open book):

DO YOU SEE WHAT TIME IT IS?

way too early/late for me, that's what time it is. I guess I'll drink a ~Dr. Thunder~ Wal-Mart's incredibly cheap version of Dr. Pepper and hope I can finish studying and make it through the rest of the day! Fingers crossed, haha. Oh but now that it is Wednesday, I can say this. I come home in a week! ONE WEEK. THAT IS PRACTICALLY NO TIME AT ALL. I just have to make it through 3 more classes, 2 quizzes, 1 exam, and 2 finals and I am DONE! Huzzah. Well anyways, have a good day -- I know I won't! haha.

So today we had 9 (yes, NINE) inches of snow. I'm pretty sure that is the deepest snow I've ever experienced in my whole entire existence! Crazy! Some of my roommates and I went outside and played. We built a snowman (pretty sure it was my first time ever) and threw snowballs, etc. It was super fun!

my car was buried in snow!

Introductions....

I figured I would start a blog just to tell about what's going on in my life since I'm way far away! I want to talk about my adventures, my classes, etc., and then I also wanted to be able to share pictures and such with everyone.

So, hi!

As an introduction, I'm a student at BYU. Currently my official major is pre-nursing, because I haven't made the appointment to change it. But really I intend on double majoring in French and Exercise Sciences, minoring in International Development, and eventually going to medical school and ultimately working with humanitarian organizations in French-speaking Africa. Whew, that's a mouthful. I want to use this blog to talk about my day to day life, my opinions on things, etc.
